The ship may cost $500 million but then there will be the entourage of bludgers with plastic grass skirts, fat bellys and the special ability of sticking their tongue out who must travel to South Korea for the obligatory BS maori hakas and blessings and all that other fake phoney rubbish...and guess what mugs will get the bill for that...that's right, the long suffering and abused Kiwi taxpayers. Unfortunately the tentacles of maoridom ( aka fraudulent and selective customs and traditions and all the BS ) has not only infiltrated the NZ military, it is practically running it. If they had any idea of the true origins of "aotearoa" apart from the fairy tales taught as history here, this would not have come up. The NZ military chiefs are as spineless and pathetic and appeasing as the traitors that call themselves politicians.
