DESIRE TO WORK WITH MĀORI SURVIVES POLL RESULTPalmerston North residents told the city council they did not want guaranteed Māori seats at the council table. But the council is still searching for ideas on other ways to increase Māori representation and involvement in decision making. The council is now asking for views on how to include Māori more in council business as part of its review of representation arrangements for elections in 2019 and 2022..... www.stuff.co.nz/manawatu-standard/news/105005705/desire-to-work-with-mori-survives-poll-result
