THRIVING AS A RESULT OF COLONISATION
M G writes > For some Maori, colonisation is a convenient excuse for their failings and certainly the British trampled everywhere they went and there is cause for complaint, however I know of several Maori who see the positives of colonisation, in particular the connection it brought to the then British Empire, and now the big wide world where opportunities to live as a global first world citizen abound.
On balance, most Maori, those with a world view, are thriving as a result of colonisation.
