Children MUST learn the concept of failure if they do not make an effort, just as they should be allowed to embrace the concept of individuals achieving excellence above all others if they make the effort and/or have the genes that permit it.
The tall poppy syndrome is being fostered far too much, and the results of poor effort are being smothered by the great leveller at work in the education system.
If the Treaty is mentioned at all, then it should not be the "massaged" re-interpreted one, but the true original version that states that we are all equal in law - there was no mention at all of separatism or separate rights, etc.
