IWI GRAPPLE WITH DESTRUCTION OF ANCIENT BURIAL GROUNDSIwi representatives say that coastal erosion due to climate change is destroying some of Aotearoa's most ancient burial sites. Ngati Ranginui environmental manager Carlton Bidois says he has been picking up ancient koiwi, or bones, that have been washed out of burial sites for the past 15 years. He says it's an issue that also tests relationships among iwi and they grapple with working through to whom the bones belong....... www.newshub.co.nz/home/shows/2019/03/iwi-grapple-with-destruction-of-ancient-burial-grounds.html

Did stoneage cannibal maoris really care who the bones came from as they ate the last piece of flesh from these bones? I doubt it. They were more concerned with the taste. It is hilarious how maori now pretend to care so much about something their ancestors did not care about. Hahaha reinventing their fake culture....again!
