WAKATŪ UNITES TE TAUIHU FOR LONG TERM PLAN Wakatū Incorporation has teamed up with the Nelson-Tasman Regional Development Agency and its council partners to develop an intergenerational growth strategy for the region, Te Tauihu 2077. The initiative has secured $400,000 from the Provincial Growth Fund for the next nine months. The steering committee includes three mayors, representatives from Iwi, the Nelson-Tasman and Marlborough Chambers of Commerce, the Nelson-Marlborough Institute of Technology, and representatives from regional businesses.
