NORTHLAND FATHER STUDIES CONNECTIONS BETWEEN EDUCATION AND THE MĀORI LUNAR CALENDARNorthland student and father Tamati Rakena is set to further his passion for mātauranga Māori after winning a $24,000 scholarship to study towards a Master of Education degree at the University of Auckland. Rakena, of Te Rarawa and Ngāti Hine, was one of 14 selected as a recipient of the Kupe Leadership Scholarship. As part of his studies, Rakena is researching the connection between education and the maramataka, or Māori lunar calendar. He thinks the maramataka should become a part of the curriculum, in mainstream schools and kura kaupapa Māori. "Hopefully, I’m able to implement or plant the seed of the importance that the maramataka has had on Māori culture for centuries and the ongoing effects that it could have."..... www.maoritelevision.com/news/regional/northland-father-studies-connections-between-education-and-maori-lunar-calendar

So, on certain days were maori more likely to murder each other than on other days? Were maori slaves subject to worse severe cruelty from their maori owners than on other days? Were maori more likely to send the Moa closer to extinction depending on the phase of the moon, than on other days? Did maori flesh taste better to other maori on certain days than other days? Maori did not have an alphabet. No numerical system either. no way to record anything other than the very convenient "word of mouth' (easy to change the story to whatever one desires and then farcically claim it was always that). This is sheer nonsense and lies and all part of the great pretend that maori culture had something to offer.....but this is just another epic fail.
