MAORI & CONSERVATION
SCC writes > Thanks to maori cannibalism, we are not able to include "indigenous" peoples in any environmental affairs.
And with maori's track record in conservation (all the many species of Moa, Haast Eagle, Huia etc), it is best for any endangered species that maori input is ignored.
Remember they still want to eat the endangered Wood Pigeons and almost wiped out the Kiwi, as well as being caught over and over with undersized Paua etc.
Maori are to conservation as a stoned drunk driver is to road safety.
