South Waikato District Council Councillor Arama Ngapo-Lipscombe raised the concern during the council's November meeting. "The chainsaw man has his chainsaw pointed directly at the head of a pole next to him," she said. "From a cultural perspective that is not very appropriate." Councillor Peter Schulte agreed and said the issue needed to be fixed.
