A SEPARATIST SYSTEM THAT MUST CHANGE
R A writes > Racism is giving one racial group different rights and privileges to others.
It is 'preferential' treatment on the basis of race.
This is what Maori are "continually" looking for, and, being given by this and previous gov't's, the continual changing of our history by revisionist historians, the brainwashing of children in 'our' schools has got to a point that you wonder what the education system is actually providing?
Te reo , New Zealand history, the 'fairy tale' version of it, and climate change are being pushed as compulsory subjects.
In 'our' universities we have openly racist lecturers like Margaret Mutu preaching white hate but Don Brash can't get a gig? not allowed on campus.
If you look at the education system's own statistics maths, English and science are well below the standard of other countries, doesn't seem to worry them as long as the kids they 'teach' feel like evil colonisers, and the Maori kids feel they are victims!
How long before they are being told Maori have rights over freshwater and any other natural resources based on "unproven" ancestry? that they must be given whatever they ask for?
I think most New Zealanders would 'disagree' with this "separatist" philosophy.
I want to live in an egalitarian country, not one where your rights are determined by 'unproven' Maori lineage.
If Maori keep pushing race-based privilege they will certainly see a backlash.
But the backlash will be egalitarian, not racist; it is the Maori position that is racist.
We need a gov't that will push us forward as one, the separatists in gov't and the treaty troughers they support will kick and scream, but, it's time for some tough love, time to 'drain the swamp' the swamp that National and Labour with the help of the New Zealand communist party has created for a small select part of the population!
Our Government, Maori 'elite and all their 'Klingons' especially the race-based Waitangi tribunal continually talk about equality for Maori when in fact Maori have much more 'equality' than their 'fellow' New Zealanders.
As far as Maori taking the 'extra' chances they are given, there is an old saying.
You can take a horse to water, but, you can't make him drink, and throwing a million dollars at him won't make him drink either, but, the group looking after the horse, the group that ''decides'' what to do "for" the horse with that million dollars is laughing all the way to the bank, where does that money come from in the first place?.
Equality is about giving everyone an equal chance.
Not about giving everyone an equal outcome/result.
The 'fact' is that is up to the individual!
