MĀORI CONNECTIONS TO ANTARCTICA MAY GO AS FAR BACK AS 7TH CENTURYIn the project, researchers scanned literature and integrated this with oral histories to provide a compiled record of Māori presence in, and perspectives of, Antarctic narratives and exploration.
