ABUSE IN CARE INQUIRY: 'COLONISATION IS AN INHERENTLY ABUSIVE PROCESS'A prominent Māori lawyer has told the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care that colonisation is the root cause of ongoing abuse of Māori in state care.
