DIVERSITY BRINGS A RICHNESS OF CULTURE TO COMMUNITIESAn example of this for me occurred the other day. I was outside our office, on the wall is a phrase written in Māori. Our landlord, a very astute mature businessman, said 'what does that mean?' I told him what it meant, and he said: 'You know I want to learn Māori." To that I say, "Tu meke Murray." That's awesome. The richness and diversity of people within our community is growing. It makes Murihiku/Southland an interesting and special place to be..... www.stuff.co.nz/southland-times/news/117050953/diversity-brings-a-richness-of-culture-to-communities
