INSATIABLE GREED AND GROWING ARROGANCE IN ROTORUA COUNCIL!
R A writes > A great example of a race-based council and the arrogance shown by a culturally hypnotised Mayor with a hand full of bottom-feeding deceitful hand-picked councilors.
Group Manager Maori, yes that is her title, Gina Rangi manager /lawyer for Te Arawa, and, yes you guessed it not just any lawyer, a 'specialist' in the troughing industry, she applied for and got $122,000 added to Te Tatau’s $250,000 annual budget (with an additional $40,000 in an election year) taking it to $372,500 pa.
The justification for the application stressed the need “to support and strengthen Te Tatau o Te Arawa’s ability to engage effectively with the Te Arawa peoples.” The detail noted the development of a Te Arawa Vision [2050] and that the “proposed funding would enable Te Tatau to engage a fixed-term project manager to support effective engagement with Te Arawa (including work on the Te Arawa Vision) WTF.
Have you noticed we are paying for a lot of Maori 'visions' lately?
Now, people, you need to have a real good look at this and put it into perspective.
Chadwick brought in these unelected Te Arawa representatives, yes, against the wishes of the majority of Rotorua.
They now run the council/Rotorua through Mayor Chadwick and are making millions of dollars a year, paying little tax and getting things made a little easier to get/ do business because of the 'back door' set up she arranged.
Is this enough? silly question of course not.
After all this, you'd think they would know when enough is enough? not likely!
Te Arawa are worth millions but still shaft the Rotorua taxpayer to fund separatism in council, that's what it is, there are councilors elected and can't support the people who voted them in, but, the Manager/lawyer pulls the strings.
Now a question, is this going to be standard after National and Labour pushed for unelected Maori on councils around the country?
Will, there be endless payouts by Rate-payers for anything Maori, and 'their'visions?
Will they come with their own treaty specialist?
This is pure arrogance and shows insatiable greed also weak governance, there is no place for this, why?
Because it renders a legally elected council powerless, there is no democracy.
The councilors who are locked out are the ones that speak for us, the people who don't agree with racism/separatism.
In Rotorua and Tauranga, just 2 examples, you have legally elected councilors shut out because they don't follow the racist mantra of the Mayor.
Now, "YOU" tell me, exactly what have 'we' got?
Also, how long before this Maori 'vision' flows from local Gov't to central Gov't?
