SOUNDS LIKE ‘ANIMAL FARM’.
R L writes > Every time I turn on the news the first sentence is in Maori.
I don’t know the language and neither do I want to know it.
I don’t want to know all the new Maori pronouns locations of where I was brought up as every town has a new name as we now have to roll our tongues and lips to stay in line with our new most important people.
Even our Countries name has changed as Media and Maori force Aotearoa on us. I must have missed the Referendum changing it from New Zealand.
Most of the Maori language has been added to by University Professors who make up words as the Maori language was simple when the Settlers arrived and Colonised NZ with the Treaty of Waitangi, signed by the king of England’s Representatives and many many Maori Chiefs.
This gave us all equal rights, tell me why this has changed and why Maori are now more equal than us.
Sounds like ‘Animal Farm’. Maybe now it’s published in Maori to help our kids become better educated for when they go on their. ‘Gap Year’ overseas after leaving school.
No doubt the whole world is now learning Maori and we have to keep up with the new chosen ones.
