NEW WELLINGTON ART REFLECTS LOCAL HISTORYThe design, created by local artist Keri-Mei Zagrobelna, depicts a carved koruru (figure head) and maihi (representing the arms), as seen on marae (Māori meeting house), transitioning into a 1920’s architect’s compass.
