TO CHANGE THIS TRAINWRECK OF A GOVERNMENT NATIONAL NEED TO STEP UP

Now Labour are after your Kiwisaver.
Not until 2026 by which time they will hopefully be history, because if they are not, NZ will be.
So National and Act you have a lot of work to do on repealing all the legislation you have promised to do.
Saying ' we will repeal' it is lazy and not enough.
You have 12 months to start working through all the changes to legislation made by this government, and there are so many large and small, that you should be beavering away with all you've got to develop policy on what you repeal first, and more importantly how!
The redundancy costs of repealing 3 Waters and separate Health Authorities on their own will be significant. What if anything will you replace them with? What will it cost? How will it be paid for?
And make sure voters know well in advance of the next election unlike the rort of 2020 by Labour.
If both parties are looking at tax reform then for pity's sake do it more intelligently. Shifting the tax thresholds is how, not giving the bottom a pittance while the top earners benefit most.
Repealing the bright line test and restoring interest as a deductible expense is simple. The rest isn't.
There will also be Local Government Reform and RMA Reform to deal with. Co Governance.
Intelligent voters want to see more than "We will". We know how big the task is going to be.
To change this trainwreck of a government National need to step up and get in line with their obvious coalition partner, Act.
Sitting on the fence on the tough stuff won't cut it.
