SOME SOUTH CANTY EDUCATION PROVIDERS SAY EVERY WEEK IS MĀORI LANGUAGE WEEKSome South Canterbury education providers have made no special plans to celebrate Māori Language Week this year, because they are increasing the amount of te reo Māori they use throughout the year. However others say it is important to acknowledge the week as it reinforces that New Zealand is a bicultural country. "Every week is Māori Language Week," she said.
