TIKANGA ON THE TABLE AS WAITANGI PREPARES FOR JACINDA ARDERN’S VISITJacinda Ardern's speaking rights and where she'll be seated during the formal ceremony at Waitangi is being discussed today. Misunderstanding of tikanga for women leaders has caused controversy in the past, with Helen Clark reduced to tears in 1998. However, a spokesperson for the marae says it is important the timing is correct and that any tapu is removed before she speaks. In some iwi, women traditionally sit behind male speakers during formal welcomes, which historically offered better protection for the child bearers of the tribe...... www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2018/01/tikanga-on-the-table-as-waitangi-prepares-for-jacinda-ardern-s-visit.html

Whatever happens, and I personally couldn't care less, it will be a cringeworthy load of make-it-up BS that will be lapped up by the brainwashed gullible nauseating media. There will be a camera there and the local thugs will sing and wail as they make up a new chapter in the rewritten chapters of maori "culture". And, if there's a TV camera present, there's always a chance of a special treat.... a "spontaneous" haka with loads of blubber wobbling out of control!!
