BENEFICIARIES OR VICTIMS OF COLONISATION
A S writes > All of the success gurus, without exception, will tell you that in order to success, you need to have the right mindset, and feeling like a victim who deserves some kind of special treatment because of it, isn't the right mindset.
Successful people get on with life and change what can and needs to change, and don't bother with the things they can't change.
One thing that most definitely can't be changed, is the past.
Maori who hang on to the past and consider themselves victims of colonisation, rather than beneficiaries of it, simply cannot succeed.
No matter how much money is thrown at them, they will always fail, along with all the rest of the world's victims.
They will always be over-represented in all the wrong statistics, including poverty.
