POLICE LAUNCH STRATEGY TO REDUCE MĀORI RE-OFFENDING BY 25 PER CENTThe police have set an ambitious new goal to reduce the rate of re-offending among Māori by 25 per cent in the next five years. It's one of many targets set out in their new Māori strategy - Te Huringa o Te Tai - launched at Pipitea Marae in Wellington last night.
