CHILDREN CELEBRATE MĀORI CULTURE THROUGH SPORT AND GAMESManawatū schoolchildren have been immersed in traditional Māori games as a way of building relationships and wellbeing. Palmerston North’s Whakarongo School hosted a Ngā Taonga Tākaro festival on Tuesday, where about 200 children from 13 primary schools in the region took part.
