MAORI AUTHORITIES UP SALES 4.7%
The value of sales by Māori authorities was up 4.7 percent in the March quarter compared with a year ago, according to new data from Statistics New Zealand.
The $40 million increase took the total value of sales to $906 million.
That includes exports worth $186 million, around 35 percent of which was to China.
Māori authorities are defined as businesses that receive, manage, and/or administer assets held in common ownership by iwi and Māori.....
