MAORI PARTY WOULDN'T SAY NO TO NEW PLYMOUTH MAYOR ANDREW JUDD JOINING RANKSMaori Party co-leader Te Ururoa Flavell says outgoing New Plymouth mayor Andrew Judd would be welcomed as a potential party candidate. This week Judd revealed to Maori Television's Native Affairs programme he didn't know what his post-mayoral future looked like, but didn't rule out a chance to stand as a Maori Party candidate in the New Plymouth electorate in the 2017 general elections. Flavell confirmed he had had no formal talks with Judd about his future plans, but said he would be an asset if he did choose to put himself forward..... www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/news/85030304/maori-party-wouldnt-say-no-to-new-plymouth-mayor-andrew-judd-joining-ranks
