DON’T BE SUCKED IN

The policy hasn’t changed. It’s still anti-democratic, it still steals water assets off the community and fences them to Māori, it still gives ownership of water, natures life-giving force, to Māori when In fact water belongs to no one.
It is still race-based with an undemocratic governance structure in which Māori hold the veto right. It’s still the policy that empowers Jackson to espouse “when we own the water, we will control them”. Racist, divisive, hateful. So call it what like you like, but the policy is still the evil 3/5-waters. Absolutely nothing has changed.
However the name change strategy is based on repetition of propaganda -
It’s affordable: the nation can afford this, there’s cash available, when in fact the legislation says Māori can raise funds on the international finance market and put up our (not their) water assets as security. And if Māori falter on repayments (which we are going to be billed for), then the financiers can come directly after the citizenry to recoup any losses or outstanding payments.
“It’s affordable” is spin. It’s expected impact on voters is to have them believe a lie through repetitive use of the new name in propaganda TV usage and msm usage. It’s brainwashing. I wonder what the electoral Act says about the deliberate financing of a political message? The idea is to increase TARPs (Google it) where by repetitive usage creates top of mind awareness in the citizenry and therefore belief and commitment to the racist policy.
Water infrastructure: infrastructure - electricity generation and delivery, roading, bridges under harbour tunnels, roading congestion, pot holes, speed, communications among other things; these are all fundamental to the economy. However, water infrastructure refers to water quality, water volume and water reticulation. These are fundamental to life, not infrastructure. So once again, the name spins a lie about 3/5 waters. It is not primarily about quality. It’s definitely not about volume - the pagan god of the Waikato River is tired and there will be no more water delivered to Ak from the Waikato, unless you pay through the nose (Underpants Morgan). It’s not about reticulation. If it were, mention would be made of Professionsl Water Engineering; water engineering has never been mentioned.
So the spin is to raise the TARPs around the concept of infrastructure by repetitive use of the new name on propaganda TV and msm
You can take that to mean Hipkins has no intention of making any fundamental-bonfire change to 3/5-waters policy. The policy is still 3/5-waters. It’s still undemocratic, it’s still racist, its still lies, it’s still wrong. It still has to be stopped. It’s establishing legislation has to be repealed.
Don’t be sucked in. Yell the real name 3/5- waters from the roof tops.
