R A writes > DECADES OF COLLUSION AND DECEIT
We wonder how we got to the point where in New Zealand we have a 'small' group of neo-extremists wanting everything that's not tied down including water!
An American writer and philosopher Eric Hoffer said, “Every great cause begins with a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.”
And that is what has happened here, gradually, well constructed and planned by successive Labour and National governments under the 'fantasy' of treaty principles and elevating anyone who relates to being Maori above the other 85% of the New Zealand populous.
The question that lurks in the corner is, even if the Treaty of Waitangi provides for racial privilege (it does not), the “Maori” of today are not the Maori of 1840, they are New Zealanders of mixed European-Maori descent who have chosen to identify as Maori, only respecting some ancestors and not others.
Yet in the Maori culture, one is to honour all ancestors equally.
It used to be every week we would hear of another back down by Gov't over anything Maori eg " Ihumatao", and another separatist policy, eg "sustaining a Maori world view" whatever that is.
But now it's every day.
More rights lost, another hand in 'our' pocket for a race-based program from 'our' Gov't.
Time to face up to the fact these are not our Governments.
The National party and Labour party are not governments of 'all' New Zealanders.
Maybe it's time to think in a different way, as in if you can't beat them join them.
The Gov't and those that relate to being Maori say there is no separatism, no favouritism.
Maybe we should jump on the bandwagon.
Nothing will ever be enough for the treaty troughers, never, no, not ever!
We now have separate systems in NZ, a health and education system for Maori, and another for 'us' Maori are still not happy with that.
They also want a say in 'our' education system and how we use 'our' health system.
Why?
They have turned the education system into a place where our children are brainwashed into thinking they are evil colonists and must pay for their crimes.
This must end!
What's stopping 'us' from having charter schools where there was an emphasis on the core subjects that our children need for the future, culture-free? religion-free, administered by a picked/elected group of parents, a school for actually learning.
Not run by the lefty, woke paedophiles that abuse children by filling their minds with their own ideology and lies.
The treaty troughers would kick up, but, is this possible?
I don't know the answer to this, could a strong smaller Gov't partner push for an education system free of racist propaganda and racial superiority?
Could we set up a 'separatist ' system for the rest of us?
Just putting it out there.
Would we be 'racist?
