LET'S CLAIM OUR RIGHTFUL PLACE AS NEW ZEALANDERS
Tom Henry (NZer) writes > As part of the Maori superiority movement, it's now fashionable for those doing well to identify their tribal roots (no matter how distant) in brackets after their name - Ngati this or that.
The underlying message is that other New Zealanders do not belong to their superior race - the new minority elite who are fast becoming the rulers of our country.
It's interesting, however, that they never do this when caught out doing something bad or criminal!
But we can also ride this wave of blatant tribalism.
I would like to suggest a simple but effective thing to do and that is that New Zealanders do the same on ALL communication and if it catches on and millions do it it will send a clear message to the Government and politicians that NZers do not want to be separated by tribalism.
The idea is for everybody regardless of ancestry to identify as (NZers), so we become a 'tribe' of NZers.
