He says it’s great news for Maori in the kiwifruit industry, but there is little for sheep, beef and dairy producers. “I think it’s progress but it’s not as good a deal as we would have liked and for the Maori world there are aspects that are good but in some of the big picture thing’s it’s disappointing. We can hope in the next 10, 15 years we can dramatically improve that.
