MAORI OFFENDING RULED A TREATY BREACHA failure to address high Maori reoffending rates means the Crown has breached its Treaty of Waitangi obligations, the Waitangi Tribunal has found. In a report released today, the tribunal said the gap between Maori and non-Maori reoffending rates was "longstanding and substantial", and contribute to the high number of Maori behind bars. No...a high maori offending rate means that maori are not honouring the treaty by continually breaking the laws that the signed treaty says we must obey. Maori are violating the treaty with every crime, and I think the fat greedy treaty troughers should start handing back that $40 Billion they have dishonestly taken fro Kiwi taxpayers.
