MĀORI CULTURE MAKES NZ SPECIAL - TVNZ CEOTelevision New Zealand boss Kevin Kenrick wants his network to ensure Māori culture continues to be a part of its programming. He spoke to Kawe Kōrero Reporters and says Māori culture “is what makes New Zealand special and different”. Kenrick says TVNZ is commitmented to its Treaty of Waitangi obligations as a state funded broadcaster. He says, “If anybody had any concerns the fact that it is enshrined in legislation, in the TVNZ Act, we have a legal obligation to reflect Māori perspectives and that’s something we embrace.”.... www.maoritelevision.com/news/regional/maori-culture-makes-nz-special-tvnz-ceo

I wonder if he is referring to traditional maori culture like cannibalism, murder, slavery, wiping out species of birds and other races of humans here before them, the awful treatment and status of women, and barbaric cruelty........or the new reinvented maori culture of the haka at the drop of a hat, swinging a few pois around to the tune of "ten guitars" and beginning every sentence with kiaora? And as for maori "perspectives".... the BS and lies here is only limited by ones imagination.
