INDIGENOUS PEOPLES SHARE THEIR INFORMATION
I think the U.N. is encouraging and facilitating so-called 'indigenous' racism worldwide and so the Maori and Canadian aboriginals and Australian aborigines share their information and successful strategies -- which is why I study more than Canadian issues.
Canadian aboriginals don't have special Parliamentary seats but they've started talking about it now. New Zealand Maoris don't have standing in a written Constitution -- unlike Canada's segregated Constitution, which has given aboriginals unprecedented powers, including the Supreme Court basically saying that they own all land title in Canada -- so now, New Zealand is being pushed towards a written Constitution.
Overall, the Maori are probably ahead in the game but they are also a larger percentage of the population (In Canada, aboriginals -- including 'half-breed' Metis -- are only 4% of the population)...
