COLONISATION TRAUMA.....2017
Jenese James a pro-Maori advocate said on this page <"still impacting down through the generations via emotional encoding in the DNA today>" unquote - Interesting concept.
My GGG Pa was shot at the battle of Horokiwi in August 1846 it took him 3 months to die...he left behind a 5 year old daughter (who never learned to read nor write) at age of 17 she married a soldier of the 65th regiment who when the British army reduced numbers in 1858 was just left in NZ without any support or income. He committed suicide in 1865 leaving 3 children behind aged 7,5,and 3.
Now according to you...this death trauma inflicted on my GG Pa's children should be emotionally encoded in my DNA...I'm sorry to have to inform you of this BUT IT ISN’T.
I wake up every morning, pull my undies on one leg at a time and go to work, in the same job that I have done for nearly 40 years. My children were all born AFTER I was married and when I could afford to have them. I dont smoke tobacco nor do I take drugs, and most days I go for a jog.
Any spare cash I had I invested in property (who knew you could make money while asleep)...are you getting the picture??....emotional DNA?...what a nonsense.

Maori who are born in Australia with the same DNA as maori born here, seem to do OK despite not getting any handouts there, while the NZ ones can't live without handouts...because the handouts are available. I wonder if the haka is in their DNA or........... just triggered by the close proximity of a TV camera?!!
