PRESERVING MAORI HISTORY AND LANGUAGE
If Maori want to preserve their history and language let them, but we should not have to pay for it.
Today it is a personal choice to be a Maori as there are no full-blooded Maori left just watered down versions of Maori.
Every other race in New Zealand celebrates their own history and cultures without costing anyone else a cent so why do we have to pay to preserve Maori?
Our Government cowl down to Maori who insists the so-called partnership formed on the signing of the treaty means they are entitled to funding to preserve their history and culture.
This is nothing but fiction no partnership was ever formed under the Treaty Maori were granted the same rights and privileges as every other citizen under the Crown nothing more.

I totally agree....if Te Reo was a racehorse it would've been shot a long time ago. I am sick of hard working taxpayers being fleeced by a corrupt government and then they GIVE hundreds of millions of our dollars to this waste of time. The best test for Te Reo is to have free classes AFTER school, NOT during school ie in your own time...and watch as nobody can be bothered turning up because they have better things to do.
