TREATY ADDRESSED ALL NEW ZEALANDERS
Considering the treaty address "All New Zealanders" and not just the brown ones.
It would be a fair and reasonable conclusion to make that we too could lodge a claim with the Treaty tribunal for the injustices done to our forefathers by the savages of the day.
Many white people were slaughtered by the Brown brothers just as the brown brothers claim they were slaughtered by the white guys, they get to lodge a claim at the treaty tribunal so why can't we, the white New Zealanders...?
At the end of the day the treaty was addressing "all new Zealanders" not maori as back then Maori never officially existed as a race of people anyhow.
The problem with the idea of white guys lodging a claim is just exactly that, we are WHITE, and to lodge a claim for compensation for that sort of injustic would be regarded as RACIST given white guys are the only ones that can BE RACIST.
The tribunal is loaded with parts who, for the sake of the mighty dollar are only to happy to ignore their white heritage, as there is no money in it, to go with the brown brother heritage because that is where the cash lies and it pays handsomely.
