ROOM FOR MAORI PARTY IN LABOUR-GREEN ALLIANCE Maori Party co-leader Marama Fox can see room for her party in the space created by a new agreement between Labour and the Greens. The two opposition parties have agreed to formalise what is already a close working relationship in the lead up to the election. Ms Fox says her party’s stance is that it will work with the Government of the day of whatever political stripe. "In the past Maori would be sitting on the sidelines waiting for a favourable government to come back in, not able to advance their causes.
