A SECTION OF LAND IN CANTERBURY HAS BEEN RETURNED TO MĀORI FOLLOWING DECADES OF NEGOTIATIONS. The site, located between State Highway 1 and a railway line in the small community of Ōmihi, once held a pa and cemetery.
